A Case Study on Remote Staffing
Client
An agro based company having operations in Northern and Central India.
Problem
The client was amidst a vast expansion phase and wanted to hire marketing staff. Since the product catered to farmers, the marketing executives needed to be stationed near villages and small towns. Hiring these executives was proving to be a challenge for the client and the cost of recruitment, cost of salary disbursement and other overheads were going through the roof. Since attrition rates were high in this scenario, it compounded matters. We were called on to conduct on ground staffing staff and complete the enrolment formalities.
Our Approach
- We deputed our field managers to recruit the desired staff by visiting the villages and other interior places of Northern and Central States like Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Jharkhand etc.
- The appointment formalities were taken care of thoroughly.
- The payroll process was regularized. We opened the bank accounts for all employees and their salaries were disbursed through bank transfers.
- The statutory compliances like Provident Funds, ESI were met.
- We managed to find replacements swiftly whenever vacancies arose, either through phone or by visit.
Results
- Vast Cost cutting for the client as a major part of the HR department was outsourced.
- A big network of marketing staff was created which helped to generate revenue.
- The client could focus on their expansion instead of worrying about remote staffing issues and achieved a fantastic growth rate by doubling the revenues within 2 years.
- We started off with a few marketing executives. Currently, we have more than 80 on our rolls.
